The underground steel strip reinforced polyethylene (PE) spiral corrugated pipe for sewage disposal is a spiral corrugated pipe externally applied with polyethylene (base material), mainly supported by a bent and molded steel strip waveform structure which is applied with high-performance adhesive rein on surface, and wound, extruded and compounded into a whole on production line.
This product combines optimal properties of steel (high rigidity and high strength) with that of the plastic (corrosion resistance, wear resistance and flexibility), etc. It not only makes four levels of circular rigidity (SN8, SN10, SN12.5 and SN16) possible to the pipe, but also solves corrosion-resistant problem of steel and makes up the weakness that circular rigidity of large-diameter all-plastic underground drainage pipe generally can be up to SN8 only.
This piping system is connected by hot melting welding, heat-shrinkable pipe (band) or electric melting band, etc., adapts to needs of various different works and operating conditions and meets the requirements of reliable sealing and easy connection better. The pipe has a wide application prospect and is the preferred alternative to traditional large-diameter drainage pipe.
Strong corrosion resistance: the pipe is made from anti-corrosive PE material, so it will not be corroded by acid, alkali or oil content, etc. in sewage or waste water.
Strong resistance to external impacts: the product is a flexible pipe and will return to its original shape when it suffers from external impacts. And, its excellent performance ensures that it is not easy to be broken in low degree settlement.
Strong ageing resistance: the pipe, owning to properties of its base material, can be used for 50 years or longer at 20ºC. Therefore, the pipe has strong ageing resistance.
Good low temperature resistance: the pipe will not be damaged by freezing or leak water even under minus 60ºC.
Light weight: mass of the pipe is only 1/8 of the concrete pipe of the same specification and 2/3 of traditional spiral plastic structure pipe, so it can be transported and constructed conveniently without any large-scale construction equipment.
Easy connection: the connection modes are many and simple and can be easily and rapidly executed on site.
Easy construction and low cost: the pipe is characterized by light weight and easy connection and does not have high
requirements for excavation works. During urban water drainage engineering construction, it would save a lot of engineering time and cost.
Superior wear resistance: the smooth inner wall and low frictional coefficient of the pipe determine that its transport capacity of medium is high.
Good environment-friendly performance: the polyethylene itself is a non-toxic and recyclable material, so the pipe will not pollute the environment.
